Item Description

This is an excellent specimen of beryllonite, a rare gemmy crystal of a species that seldom forms such aesthetic specimens. It is a lustrous, transparent to translucent crystal with sharp to stepped-growth faces. Simply heads above most examples of this species, gram for gram, which are generally opaque in any case. This fine and rare crystal is from a recent small find (June, 2011) at an obscure Linopolis, Brazil locale. Valued $300-500 - this is an outstanding example of this species in miniature size. 16 grams. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
