Item Description

A colorful, aesthetic and unusual small cabinet bi-colored fluorite specimen from this famous mine. This sculptural piece has two distinct generations of cubes. Gem, rich amber cubes with glass-smooth faces comprise the first generation of fluorite. Striking, densely stepped-growth, highly lustrous rich sky-blue to light violet cubes with frosted faces cover most of this excellent fluorite from the Ross Lillie Collection # 0559. The faces of the blue/violet cubes have a fabulous artistic look. Recovered from advance mining in the Adams/Clanton drift in September, 1992.
