Item Description

An ultra exotic, polychrome, gemmy and lustrous, doubly terminated pair of parallel-growth tourmaline crystals from the famed Cruzeiro Mine. The sharp, gemmy, pyramidal terminations are a glorious rich mottled cinnamon-orange with vivid pink and golden-yellow sections around the edges. The crystals GLOW, when backlit revealing that the crystal cores are the mottled cinnamon-orange of the terminations! Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only a trivial bit of side wear. A highly deceptive, outstanding and rare old-time 360-degree bi-colored tourmaline from the 1960s and 70s finds. 102 grams. Valued at $2000-2250 for exotic coloration and crystal quality.
