Bi-colored spinel-twinned Fluorite (Charlie Key)

A fine, sculptural, high luster, bi-colored spinel-twinned fluorite from the Erongos. The tabular, translucent, terminated crystal has pretty shades of purple and green with some near colorless areas. The two primary sides are distinctively different, with the one side enhanced by the side car crystal. Complete all-around. A cleave lower on one side and a contacted edge, with no damage, per se are noted, but certainly have only minimal impact to the excellent quality of this uncommon fluorite style from the Erongos. Modest purple fluorescence. These Erongo spinel-twinned fluorites caused a stir at the major shows in 2012 and 13. An excellent miniature example. Ex Charlie Key dealer stock.
