Item Description
Diverging, gemmy and lustrous, bi-colored, tourmaline crystals from the famous Santa Rosa Mine form a striking and excellent specimen. The glassy, well-striated crystals are water-clear to translucent. The primary color is a pretty, seafoam-green. The flattoped crystal has a beautiful and striking, partial watermelon pink core, while the complexly pyramidal crystal has pink highlights near the termination. Very interesting chemistry here. The pinacoidal termination is frosted and sparkly. This oldtime beauty, dating to the 1960s or 70s is complete all-around and pristine. Classics like this are hard to find today, except from older recycled advanced collections. Ex Richard Hauck Collection. 35 grams. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
