Item Description

A spectacular tourmaline and quartz specimen from the early 1990s find at Marilac. A 2.6 cm, gemmy and lustrous, bullet-nosed, tourmaline looks like a very colorful rocket shooting past a dangerous, water-clear, glassy, ice cliff of sharp, intergrown, flattened quartz crystals. Smaller tourmaline rockets, that crashed and didn't make it past the cliffs are embedded on and in the "ice". This very aesthetic combination piece is complete all-around and is pristine....It is a floater! This find was small and specimens very quickly disappeared. Ex Bill Larson/Pala International Tourmaline Collection. Valued at $1200, and worth it.
