If I were to say Orthoclase and Biotite in the same breath, people would react with a ho-hum most of the time. Never have I seen this superb a combination of the two from Erongo. Out with the ho-hum and in with WOW. This incredible 4 cm Biotite crystal is striking, and the Orthoclase it sits on complements it nicely. A terrific and aesthetic combination piece. And frankly just a really fine biotite ...one which could fit into a collection of far fancier and more pricey minerals, without looking out of sorts!
