Item Description

Lustrous, butterscotch-colored, bipyramidal, wulfenite crystals are richly and aesthetically scattered on the large, sturdy, very vuggy, 3-dimenstional, gossan matrix on this excellent specimen from Mina Ojuela. The largest crystal is 1.5 cm. Sparkly spherical aggregates of dark olive-green to brown mimetite cover much of the matrix and are a fine accent, along with scattered calcite rhombs. Broken crystals are noted, mainly on the periphery, but certainly nothing to detraction. This is a showy, representative and large piece for the find and species.
