Item Description

Choice cluster of three intergrown Boleites on matrix. The Boleites are classic - deep blue, cubic, and lustrous, and range up to .7 cm on edge. They are as close to pristine as you can get, and they are on matrix so nicely perched. You will not often find a Boleite like this. It is a superb competition-worthy miniature from the 1970s finds by Bill Larson and Ed Swoboda when they went in and reworked the turn of the 1900s locality here. Valued $2000-2500, this is an outstanding example of a rare silver halide species!
