Item Description

Boleite is one of the great classics from Mexico. This excellent and sculptural small cabinet hosts five, teal-blue to deep indigo-blue, boleite cubes with mirror luster faces jauntily set on stabilized clay matrix from the famous 1970s finds by Ed Swoboda and Bill Larson at the historic Amelia Mine at Boleo, Mexico. The two, large cubes are 5 mm. The scattered patches of green atatcamite are a fine compliment. A classic and choice matrix specimen from the Robert Whitmore Collection # 780. Valued at $450.
