Botryoidal Fluorite

Item Description

This recent find really shocked the mineral collecting world, because botryoidal fluorites are rare, and here you had intensely rich PURPLE ones (which had rarely been seen before). The translucent specimens glow a luscious lavender under good light. The bubbly botryoids have great form on this fine two-sided rib. The noted periphery wear at the base on one end is barely noticable. Very showy and highly representative of the rare species and find. The botryoids have a richer purple/violet color, than the photos show.
