Item Description

This recent find really shocked the mineral collecting world, because botryoidal fluorites are rare, and here you had intensely rich PURPLE ones (which had rarely been seen before). The striking and rare, single 3.0 cm, translucent botryoid glows a luscious purple under good light. The mounded matrix is crystal quartz grading downward to banded chalcedony (rare for the locale and find). The botryoid is pristine on the fine and rare 360-degree specimen. Exceptional for the rare species and find.
