Botryoidal Hematite (New Find - RARE)

Botyroidal hematite is RARE from any Chinese locale and this striking plate is from a NEW 2017 find at this obscure iron and manganese mine in Hunan Province. Mineral specimens of any type are RARE from here. Striking and beautifully luminous low-relief bubbly gray hematite botryoids cover the hefty and rich banded rust-brown iron ore matrix on this fine, rare and rich example. It reminds me of classic botryoidal hematite from England, the USA or Morocco, but it's from China!
