Exceptional and impressive old-time malachite from this famous Urals deposit. Dense clusters of highly lustrous, rich green, bubbly malachite botryoids cover this striking 360-degree mounded specimen. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. A couple of contacts have no damage, per se. The concave malachite attachment crust at the base is striking in itself. This historic Copper district produced the malachite for the fantastic large urns and for decorative work for Imperial Russia. This is very sculptural, excellent, very dense carving grade old-time malachite from this noted locale. 290 grams mass.
