Item Description

Boulder Opal is one of the most distinct and popular Opal varieties in the world. Australia is obviously the prolific producer of Opals in the world, especially since such a wide array of Opals are found there. This "Freeform Cabochon" cut stone features beautiful patches of electric purple, blue and green Opal which are sitting within dark and light brown iron-rich Sandstone host rock. You can see the color patches on BOTH sides of the stone! The vibrant color of the Opal against the dark background makes for a lovely gem, which would do well in a pendant or loose as a great addition to your gem collection. Priced at $738 high retail.
