Item Description

This specimen was collected in 2000. It hails from one of the most exciting Bolivian locality of the last 10 years. It hosts a few sharp, tabular, metallic, silvery-grey color crystals which are sitting on most desirable Quartz and Pyrite matrix. The first pieces to come out of this pocket are among the best ever from this mine. The best / largest crystal measures 1.0 cm. Recently one of the best pieces from a recent find at Machacamarca was featured on the cover of the March/April 2009 Issue of the Mineralogical Record! This specimen is from the same mine.
