Item Description

Endellionite is an old synonym for bournonite and is named after Wheal Boys, St. Endellion, Cornwall. A splendent, chain of bournonite cogwheels lines the crest of the massive bournonite matrix and is beautifully complimented by the starkly contrasting quartz crystals. Old-time Herodsfoot bournonites are a worldwide classic and are highly desired. They were recovered from the late 1850s-1875. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
