Item Description
This is a good large thumbnail / toenail sized piece of the elusive Bournonites from the La Mure coal mines. The piece hosts several fine, sharp, lustrous, gun-metal color "cogwheel"-shaped groups of Bournonite free of matrix. This piece is in good condition, despite a bit of roughness on one edge. The faces are well-formed and distinct and have an attractive metallic patina. From the collection of Shields Flynn.
