Bournonite on Quartz with Pyrite

Here we have an attractive Bolivian Bournonite specimen from a find dating back to 2003, We don't see nearly as many good Bournonites from Bolivia as we used to, and this is one of the better miniature sized specimens that we have offered in the auctions for a while. It features very attractive, sharp, metallic, lustrous, silvery-grey color, bladed crystals measuring up to 1.7 cm on edge across aesthetically sitting on a matrix composed of grey micro Quartz and sparkling metallic golden Pyrite. The piece is in excellent shape overall, and I can't find any major damage, though there are few rough spots when you look closely. As mentioned, This specimen is from a discovery dating back nearly 20 years at Machacamarca, and this particular pocket with the Quartz and Pyrite matrix is one of the best from this particular mine in my opinion.
