Item Description
Bournonite specimens are very rare from Naica and this is an exceptionally rich and fine, two-sided combination example from the well known specialty Mexico suites of the Consie Prince and Dave Stoudt Collections. Sharp, moderately lustrous, metallic-gray cogwheels and lustrous, striated pyrites are festooned on both sides of the quartz matrix. The cogwheels reach 1.7 cm and the opposing arrangements of the cogwheel clusters on the front are striking. This is one of only a few very fine large Naica bournonite and pyrite combinations we have seen. Valued at $1000-1250.
