Item Description

Bournonite and siderite combinations of this quality are RARE from this polymetallic mine, well-known for excellent bournonite and augelite specimens. A 2.0 cm lustrous, steel-gray, tabular bournonite cogwheel is elegantly perched atop the sculptural miniature matrix. Siderite and bournonite combinations are rare from here. This cutie is artistically accented with lustrous, translucent, striated honey-brown siderite rhombs, especially the striking 1.5 cm rhomb at the bottom of the piece and smaller cogwheels. The matrix consists of tiny quartz points and drusy quartz. A very fine and rare combination miniature from a limited 2010 find.
