Item Description

A fabulously aesthetic specimen from the 1990s finds at the famous Corrego Frio Mine of Brazil. A striking, pearlescent, fishtail-twinned, bladed muscovite "sail" proudly stands upright on a matrix of gemmy and lustrous, yellow-green brazilianite crystals to 2.5 cm and smaller muscovites. Complete all-around, the fishtail is pristine and a bit of contacting to the brazilianites is noted, but is certainly a modest detraction. Classic, very showy combination material from this very well-known locale.
