Item Description

Brochantite is a well known copper hydroxy sulfate, and the Bingham area is a great locality for the species. This piece features beautiful, lustrous, electric green "tuft"-like crystals of Brochantite intermixed with Quartz matrix forming a striking and colorful specimen from this well-known locality. The color is so bright and rich, I thought at first glance that this was a Dioptase specimen. A cool and eye-catching miniature piece for any collector from the Harold Urish Collection.
