Item Description
A rare and fine brookite thumbnail from the Christy Mine at Magnet Cove, Arkansas. A sharp, moderately lustrous, 1.3 x 1.2 cm, complete all-around and pristine, brookite crystal is jauntily set atop a quartz pedestal on this aesthetic specimen. The unusual, light etching gives the crystal distinctive character. Rarely on the market from this uncommon locale, which was prospected and mined intermittently from 1913-1986. Ex.
