Item Description

Brucite, Mg-hydroxide, is found in found in metamorphic rocks and metasediments, in marbles and magnesian skarns. It is very uncommon from Pakistan. A 2015 small find in the Kharan District of Pakistan yielded beautiful and colorful examples, such as this. This very showy and sculptural two-sided piece features intergrown, glassy, translucent, striking yellow-green botryoids attractively attached to the brecciated matrix.
