Item Description

A few beautiful, soft amber color compressed scalenohedra of Calcite are aesthetically set on matrix from the 2009 Chinese find. The crystals are glassy, sharp and have good internal gemminess. The piece is not perfect as a few of the crystals are sligthly imperfect, but the piece is in great shape overall. A good and highly representative specimen of this find, where the locality in Hubei Province was not divulged for some time. The largest crystal measures 2.7 cm across.
