Calcite (aesthetic specimen)

Item Description

This is a notably three-dimensional and aesthetic display specimen from Dalnegorsk featuring a fine quality, well-formed, translucent, trigonal group of Calcite measuring 2.4 cm across, dramatically perched atop a wonderfully scupltural matrix coated by minor tan Siderite. A slight pink color can be seen due to minor manganese content in the Calcites. There is a second smaller Calcite group on the piece for a nice touch. No major damage that I can see. The piece is complete all around and displays beautifully from a few angles. Priced at $950 in our inventory.
