A Chinese classic find, these so-called "strawberry quartz" specimens came out about mid-2000s, and now are seldom seen and hard to find in quality. This one is a large plate with beautiful calcite flowers and chalcopyrite on it which make a remarkable comparison with the red quartz. A great exhibition quality specimen. It is huge, elegant, beautiful, and in incredible condition - you almost never seen them for sale anymore. This came out of a Chinese personal collection, from one collector there to Jingnan Zhang here in the USA. It has an impactful size and look to it! Valued $2000-ish
