Item Description

Calcite in good crystals is actually very uncommonly exported from the pegmatites in the well-known Shigar Valley. Lustrous, tranlucent, tabular, calcite rhombs to 2.7 cm and sharp, glassy, orthoclase variety adularia crystal to 3.8 cm are attractively scattered on all sides of this showy and excellent large specimen from Alchuri. Many of the larger adularia crystals are preferentially included with chlorite, as are most of the small adularias on the matrix. Fine and rare large combination material from this locale. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
