Item Description
A beautiful specimen of Calcite from Daye, in Hubei, China. It features two interlocking crystals of Calcite several inter-joined Calcite crystals to 3.5 cm. exhibiting a rich golden-yellow color and superb crystal definition. Both crystals are very gemmy with faint, veiled inclusions and barely discernible internal planes that reflect incident light. This is a jewel of a Calcite specimen from a small find at this deposit from several years ago (about 2010) was quickly depleted and these are all but impossible to find anymore. Classic!
