Item Description

Branching stacked clusters of lustrous, translucent, brown, calcite scalenohedrons in classic arborescent style resting on a bit of gossan matrix from the famous Southwest Mine at Bisbee. A famous calcite habit from Bisbee, that is complete all-around and essentially pristine, except for a bit a contacting, lower on one side. It is out of sight on either of the primary display faces. Ex Karl Warning Calcite Collection and purchased from Phoenix Minerals of Maud, Texas at the Travelodge in Tucson on February 10, 1989.
