Calcite (classic twin) (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

A classic, gemmy / translucent, sharp, golden twinned Calcite crystal from this lesser known locality. This piece has excellent form and overall three-dimensional appeal. The piece is undamaged on the top, but it does have a contact on the base where it was removed from the pocket wall. An attractive specimen of this now hard to find material, and a worthwhile pickup for anybody who collects miniatures, Calcites, midwest specimens or even twinned pieces.
