One of the most desirable varietals worldwide for Calcite are these bright pink Cobaltoan examples from Morocco, and the recent past has seen some of the finest batches ever. This specimen hosts superb quality, sharp, well-formed, lustrous, gemmy, rich pink cobalt-bearing Calcite crystals covering the display side of this showy small cabinet sized specimen. All of the central crystals are pristine, and the only real damage is along the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. The color is excellent for the material and it looks fantastic in person. Valued at $5,000 in the inventory for quality, size and fantastic color.
