Item Description
A wonderful small cabinet specimen of flashy, sharp, very well-formed, INTENSE fuchsia pink crystals of the very desirable cobaltoan variety of Calcite from the famous Aghbar Mine in Morocco. This locality has produced some of the most iconic and eye-catching examples of this colorful Calcite variety ever found. Virtually undamaged on the display side, save the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. The largest crystal measures 7 mm across. The crystals are gorgeous to view up close, as they exhibit superb trigonal terminations. They're also gemmy when viewed at the correct angle. An excellent overall specimen of this classic material.
