Item Description
A striking, large, flattened, disk-shaped, colorless calcite rhomb with razor-sharp edges from the Book Cliffs of Colorado. The bit of attached matrix is an excellent accent. Very nearly pristine, with only trivial edgewear. This fine piece reminds me of classic Dal'negorsk material, but is from Colorado! The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality, which is excellent. Ex Shclichter Collection. Valued at $200-300.
