Item Description

An attractive and classic cabinet specimen featuring very sharp, lustrous, gemmy (water-clear in areas) colorless rhombohedra of Calcite on matrix. The largest rhomb which measures 4.3 cm across is contacted on the side where it clearly detached from the pocket wall, but the piece remains a very good quality Tsumeb Calcite. Tsumeb specimens are becoming harder to find on the market, and this piece is a great representative specimen of this attractive and well known material. Valued at $1800 in the inventory.
