Item Description

An unusual looking large calcite from a most obscure Chihuahua, Mexico locale. Glassy, colorless dogtooth calcites crystals have two striking preferential "skunk stripes" of included hematite running down the piece. They remind me of similar calcites from the famous mines at Santa Eulalia. RARE, older material from the 1960s or 70s from the J.G. Dixon and Tom Wolfe Calcite Collections.
