A rare and dramatically sculptural style of large calcite from this less well-known Santa Eulalia mine from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection. Hematite is preferenitally included in the striking arborescent specimen of stacked sharp, lustrous and translucent rhombs. The flip side shows the normal untinted calcite. Interesting chemistry here! This impressive and essentially pristine piece, with only a bit of periphery wear on the back side, has multiple fine display views.
