Item Description
Stunning calcite "loop" on oxide-tinted calcite from the well-known Wenshan Mine. This surreal, sinuous cave helictite has stalactite-like growth, but is NOT a stalactite. It was not formed by drip drops over time, but is actually stacked crystals. The crystals are readily visible under close examination with a loupe. A fascinating, bizarre and RARE style calcite from Wenshan.
