Item Description
Calcite specimens with this striking, elongated, scalenohedral form are rare from the historic Copper Queen Mine. The aesthetics are outstanding on these glassy, lightly iron oxide-tinted spires. A beautiful, 360-degree specimen. Very, very nearly pristine, with only the secondary calcite having a very gently cleaved tip. Specimens of this quality certainly date to prior to World War I. Looks like old English, but its not! Ex Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection.
