Item Description

Conichalcite is a RARE and desirable secondary copper species from the famous mines at Bisbee. Lustrous, nubby and knobby bubbly botryoids of fine green conichalcite totally cover the mounded gossan matrix on this uncommon, extremely rich and and aesthetic miniature combination. The sculptural cluster of pristine, glassy calcite scalenohedrons aerially perched on the crest is a super accent. Possibly from the famous Southwest Mine. Conichalcite specimens of this richness and combination quality are EXTREMELY RARE from any Bisbee mine. Choice material from the Bruce Murphy Arizona Collection, that looks great from either side.
