Brilliant, sharp, jet-black hematite crytsals to 1.6 cm are scattered on the sculptural matrix of scintillating, microcrystalline hematite beautifully accented with colorless calcite. The striking large rhomb is 2.2 cm. The famous Nchwaning Mines have produced world-class hematite specimens and this is a showy and excellent combination example.
