Item Description
Dozens of sharp, well-formed, slightly "smoky" colored scalenohedral crystals of Calcite measuring up to 8 mm are covering a matrix partially coated by olive-green Kolwezite. Soft sky blue colored Chrysocolla can be seen as well. The Calcites have a beautiful vitreous luster along with good internal gemminess and an almost "silky" quality when you view them up close. Very good quality, with only one real noticeable point of damage on the top portion of the piece. The specimen was collected in June of 2019.
