Calcite ("phantom" crystals)

A gorgeous and showy three-dimensional small cabinet display specimen from the famous Sweetwater Mine in Missouri featuring a trio of sharp, very lustrous, vitreous, gemmy, soft golden-yellow color scalenohedral crystals of Calcite measuring up to 6.3 cm sitting on very minor matrix. The best aspect of the Calcites is that they feature beautiful internal "phantoms" which can be seen from all sides. All three of the Calcites are terminated, but there are a few small imperfections that can be seen, so they're not completely pristine. The fine vitreous luster and internall gemminess is excellent for the material. Valued at $900.
