Item Description
A striking, large, 6.6 cm, flattened disk-shaped, colorless calcite rhomb with razor-sharp edges is jauntily set upright in shale matrix from the Book Cliffs of Colorado. The striated crystals faces really add character to this highly lustrous and translucent crystal. Very nearly pristine, with only the most trivial of edgewear. This fine piece reminds me of classic Dal'negorsk material, but is from Colorado. Ex Schlichter Collection. BETTER in person.
