Item Description
Santa Eulalia is one of the most prolific mineral specimen producing districts in the history of Mexican mining. This piece is a wonderful example of the classic Calcites from the San Antonio Mine featuring superb twinning, along with sharp, lustrous, vitreous faces, with very minor matrix on the back. My favorite aspect of the piece is that there are multiple reentrant twinning angles present on the front of the piece, showing excellent crystal morphology.
