Item Description
A sharply interpenetration twinned calcite, super gemmy and clean, sits perched in the middle of a beautiful pocket of sparkling apophyllite. The calcite is 5 cm, 2 inches, across! It is pristine. The apophyllite provides a contrast of both geometry and texture, and the points are scintillating in the light with high luster. While it's not difficult to find twinned Indian calcites, or to find vugs of apophyllite, the combination here makes for a striking and artistic representation of the two pieces. A dozen or so pale peach stilbite crystals jut out amongst the apophyllite crystals.
