Item Description

Cobaltian calcite is not rare from Morocco, but specimens with actual crystalline habit are much more rare than the usual material with thin coverages, or solid intergrown or botryoidal coverages. Specimens like this, with actual sharp crystals, are 1 in 1000. This piece features sharp flattened rhombohedra that look like stacked discs, one atop the other. It is a gorgeous, hot color.
