Item Description
A sparkling, large specimen of classic older material from the Santa Eulalia District, with multiple generations (at least 3) of glassy, sparkling calcite crystals on a rolling matrix of limonite. The calcites are like disco balls, with light reflecting everywhere. Some of them are included with red hematite, which makes for red sparkles amidst the white. A few larger, sharp white calcite crystals to 1 cm arise from the masses. Donated by Stone Throne for the MINDAT auction. Note that this comes with a custom mineral base in lucite already made (at a cost to previous owner of around $300), included freely.
