Impressive, sculptural and classic large 360-degree calcite combination from the well-known Brushy Creek Mine of Missouri. Scintillating intermixed iridescent golden chalcopyrite and marcasite microcrystals preferentially coat the large early first generation calcites scalenohedrons. Calcite resumed growing again in the form of the mottled, translucent gray crystals. Complete all-around, you barely notice that the tip of the large secondary calcite at the top is cleaved. The piece is from a famous large 1989 pocket find recovered from the large cavity system from a specimen mining venture. A very showy and highly representative large classic calcite with sulfide accessories from the famous finds.
